A chef for the days you’re too busy to cook

One fresh, healthy, balanced meal a day, cooked in your kitchen — with the groceries, the shopping and the cleanup all included. $300/day, all-inclusive.

The daily meal service is Table Group’s answer to a simple problem: a family, a couple, or a guest staying somewhere for days or weeks, working long hours, with no time to shop or cook — but still wanting one real, fresh, healthy meal every day. Chef Ari comes to your home, cooks one balanced meal, serves it, and cleans the kitchen before he leaves.

It suits a longer stay in a rental home, a busy family with two working parents, or a household hosting guests for a week or more. The service is built around your household: the menu is planned from a short questionnaire about tastes, allergies, diets and your kitchen, so the food fits the people eating it — not the other way round.

How the service works

1 · Book

Message us with your dates, the number of people, and the meal you want each day — through the website, by email at arashafshan@gmail.com, or by phone at 647-463-8204.

2 · The questionnaire

We send a short questionnaire about tastes, allergies, diets, fridge space and your kitchen. The menu for the whole stay is planned from your answers.

3 · Every day

Chef Ari does the grocery shopping, arrives, cooks one fresh meal in your kitchen, serves it, and cleans up.

Booking a multi-day or daily private chef service? Start with the Client Questionnaire — it takes about 15–20 minutes and helps us design your menu around you.

For a multi-day or daily meal service, please also complete our Client Questionnaire — health, preferences, kitchen & logistics, plus how you found us.

What a stay looks like

The menu is planned across the whole stay, not day by day — so the protein and the cooking style keep changing, and no main is repeated. Fish, chicken, lamb, beef and turkey all take their turn, with plenty of vegetables and thoughtful flavours, and a lighter day built in when the stay runs long. Shopping follows the plan in stages, so ingredients stay fresh and nothing is wasted.

Because the chef does the shopping, you never have to think about groceries at all. High-quality ingredients, plenty of vegetables, balanced portions — and a kitchen that is clean again before the chef leaves.

The daily meal service works at your home — and it is exactly what a holiday stay needs. Chef Ari cooks in the rental’s kitchen, one fresh meal a day plus cleanup, up to 2 hours from Toronto, including Muskoka, the Kawarthas, Haliburton, Prince Edward County and the Blue Mountains. It is the holiday-chef service for cottage country: arrive, settle in, and dinner is cooked.

About the chef

Chef Ari.

One chef, one team, one standard: food cooked like it matters — because at your event, it does.

Chef Ari built his career in professional kitchens and hospitality. His training is in hotel and restaurant management, and it shows in how an Ari’s Table event runs: the food is only half of it; timing, presentation and service carry the other half.

The menu is deliberately international, rooted in Persian technique — saffron, slow braises, live grilling — and finished with the polish of a fine-dining kitchen. Everything except the grill is prepared in advance and set at your venue; the grill station is cooked live, on site, so the centrepiece of the meal comes off the fire in front of your guests.

Today all of it lives under one name: Table Group — one kitchen, three tables. Ari’s Table is the catering table: a booked-events-only service with no restaurant overhead and no shortcuts — just a set menu done properly, for gatherings of 20 guests and up. Private Table is the private chef table: Chef Ari cooks the Imperial Menu in your own home, for 2 to 6 guests. And Shahan Table is the fine dining table — one table, one party, one evening — arriving soon.

Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the daily meal service and a private chef evening?

A private chef evening is one evening — the 3-course Imperial Menu for 2 to 6 guests, served at your table. The daily meal service is one fresh, healthy, balanced meal a day across a whole stay, planned from a questionnaire and cooked in your kitchen, with the groceries and the cleanup included.

Can the chef stay overnight at the cottage?

No — the chef does not stay overnight. He arrives each day, cooks one fresh meal in your kitchen, serves it, and cleans up before he leaves.

What quality of ingredients do you buy?

High-quality ingredients, with plenty of vegetables and thoughtful flavours — the chef does the grocery shopping himself, and the menu is planned around your tastes, allergies and diets.

What if two people in the household have different allergies?

Tell us in the questionnaire — it asks about each person's allergies separately, with their severity, and the menu for the whole stay is planned around the whole household.

Can I add days to my stay after booking?

Message us — tell us the dates you would like to add, and we will do our best to extend the stay, depending on availability.

Which meal of the day do you cook?

One meal a day — lunch or dinner, whichever you choose. The questionnaire asks which meal you want and what time it should be served, and the menu is planned around your answer.

How many people is the daily meal service for?

The service is built around your household — for a couple, a family, or guests staying for days or weeks. Tell us the number of people when you book, and the menu and shopping are planned for your household.

What is the chef's daily schedule?

The chef's arrival time is agreed with you when you book — the questionnaire asks when the chef should arrive and when the meal should be served, so the day runs around your schedule.

Is the menu different every day?

Yes — the menu is planned across the whole stay, not day by day, so the protein and the cooking style keep changing and no main is repeated. Fish, chicken, lamb, beef and turkey all take their turn.

Can the service include meals for children?

Yes — tell us about the children in the questionnaire, including their ages and tastes, and the menu for the stay is planned around the whole household.

Do you cook more than one meal a day?

The service is one fresh, healthy, balanced meal a day. If you would like more than one meal a day, message us and we will talk through what is possible for your stay.

Can the meal time change during the stay?

The meal and serving time are agreed with you when you book, and the questionnaire asks when the meal should be served. If the time needs to change during the stay, message us and we will adjust.

Do we need to be home while you cook?

No — the chef cooks in your kitchen and cleans up before leaving. The questionnaire asks about your work schedule and access, so tell us your routine and we will plan around it.

How is the menu planned for the whole stay?

From the questionnaire — your tastes, allergies, diets and kitchen. The menu is planned across the stay before day one, so the meals stay varied and the shopping follows the plan in stages, keeping ingredients fresh.

How often do you shop for groceries?

Shopping follows the menu plan in stages, so ingredients stay fresh and nothing is wasted. The chef does all the grocery shopping — it is always included in the $300 a day.

Do you use what's already in my kitchen?

The questionnaire asks about your fridge and freezer space and the pantry basics you have, so the chef plans around your kitchen. The groceries for each meal are bought by the chef and included in the price.

Can the menu be built around the cuisines we love?

Yes — the questionnaire asks which cuisines you love and which you avoid, including Persian, Mexican and Italian, and the menu for the stay is planned around your answers.

Can you cook for special diets like keto or low-sodium?

Yes — the questionnaire asks about diet types, including halal, keto, low-sodium, gluten-free and fasting, and the menu is planned around your household's diets.

Do you clean up after every meal?

Yes — kitchen cleanup is part of every day. The chef cleans as he cooks and leaves the kitchen clean before he leaves.

Can we skip a day during the stay?

Message us about the dates for your stay — tell us which days you need the service, and we will plan the stay and the menu around your schedule.

What if the chef can't come one day?

If the chef is delayed or unwell, he will call by an agreed time and the day will shift. Message us when you book and we will agree how a missed day is handled.

Is there a minimum number of days for the service?

Message us about your stay — tell us the dates and the number of days, and we will confirm what is possible.

What if we have a guest for dinner one night?

Message us if your household grows for a night — tell us the date and the extra guest, and we will talk through the menu and the plan.

Do you cook on weekends?

Yes — the service runs on the days you need it, including weekends. Tell us your dates when you book.

Is the $300 a day per person or for the whole household?

For the whole household — $300 a day, all-inclusive, covers one fresh, healthy, balanced meal a day for your household, plus the groceries, the shopping and the cleanup.

Do you cook extra for leftovers?

The questionnaire asks about leftovers, so tell us if you would like the chef to cook extra. The menu is planned around your household's appetite and portions.

Can the daily menu include Persian dishes?

Yes — the questionnaire asks which cuisines you love, and Persian dishes are part of what the chef cooks. Tell us your favourites and the menu will include them.

Is the daily menu the same as the Imperial Menu?

No — the daily menu is one fresh, healthy, balanced meal a day, planned for the whole stay. The Imperial Menu is the 3-course fine-dining menu for a private chef evening — and a longer stay can end with an Imperial-style farewell dinner.

Can you cook in a rental home's kitchen?

Yes — the service is made for longer stays in rental homes. The chef cooks in the rental's kitchen, one fresh meal a day plus cleanup, and the questionnaire asks about the kitchen so he arrives prepared.

Do you bring your own knives and pans?

Yes — the chef brings his own knives and key tools, including a good pan and a food thermometer, so he is not relying on an unfamiliar kitchen.
